Gift tag on bench

For the first time in our journey we leave the car and travel on foot. As we walk around Washington, D.C. I notice something white on a stone bench. As I get closer I see that it is a white tag with a matching ribbon, probably originally attached to a gift. Because the rain has washed away most of the writing, the only visible word on the note is ‘dragi’. In Romanian this translates to dear. You can tell this is a personal note by its length and also because there are several hand drawn hearts.
